Focused on God  |  Committed to one another  |  Involved in his world

Our aim of building a community that grows disciples who will make a difference in the world involves both people and money. It will cost us around £450,000 this year to fund all that we do, most of which comes from the regular giving of church members.

How can I give?

In one or more of these ways:

  • banker’s order (for regular gifts) – bank account details available from the church office
  • bank transfer (including internet)
  • cheque (payable to Emmanuel Church Northwood)
  • charity voucher, card or standing order
  • cash in the church offering

If you are a UK tax-payer you can also use the Gift Aid scheme to increase your gift at no additional cost to you.  Gift Aid enables us to claim back the tax on any gifts to Emmanuel other than those made with charity vouchers (as they already include tax refunds).Currently we can claim 25 pence for every £1 given. You don't have to commit to giving for any particular period, and all your giving can be done tax efficiently by signing one simple Gift Aid form, which can be found below to download. However, we do need you to return a signed paper copy for our records and the form can only be completed by an individual UK tax-payer.  To qualify for Gift Aid, donations then need to be identifiable and be made from a personal bank account of the same person or in cash.

If you are not a UK tax payer, whilst you cannot use Gift Aid, you can still give regularly and through your bank.

If you are a higher rate tax payer you will be able to claim back higher rate tax on your gifts through your tax return or by contacting HMRC at the end of the tax year if you do not complete a tax return.

If you would like more information about giving to Emmanuel, or about how you can remember us in your will, please email us with your contact details and we will get back to you promptly and in complete confidence
