Eastbury Church: a family church working with the community

Eastbury Church is a small thriving family church working with the local community of Eastbury that seeks to offer the opportunity for people from all walks of life to see the transforming power of Jesus in people’s lives.

Brief History of Eastbury

Eastbury began in 1997 with a weekly Sunday morning service. Its history, however, goes back to 1994 when an annual Easter Holiday Club first started.

Eastbury is part of the Church of England, and a church plant of Emmanuel, within Emmanuel parish.

Goals for 2013 to 2014

Our vision is that everyone resident in this area of Northwood would have the opportunity to witness the Kingdom of God, and to become Christians.

Our goals for 2013 to 2014 include:

  • to have a spiritual impact in the local community
  • to be a valued partner of Eastbury Farm Primary School
  • to welcome all
  • to have 40% of our fellowship regularly engaged in small groups

 As a church we value

  • Worship
  • Evangelism
  • Fellowship
  • Discipleship
