Emmanuel is a church family made up of people of all ages and we love that we have so many children as part of the family here. Children are a key part of our vison and we have a range of groups where they can have fun together, meet Jesus, have encounters with him, study the bible and grow in their faith.

Sunday Groups | 10.30am

Children enjoy a fun, interactive session during our 10:30am service, where they explore the Bible, worship, pray, and discover how God's love and truth applies to everyday life.

First Visit? We'd love to welcome you! Please arrive by 10:15am to register your child.

Under 2s

Under-2s have dedicated spaces:

- In the service - colourful area at the back of church

- In Betty's Room - a self-serve creche where the service is live-streamed.

Parents/Carers of Under-2s are welcome in either space

Ages 2- 4 (PreSchool)

No-one is too little to sparkle & glow when lit up with God’s love. Free play - Games - Circle time - Singing - Bible Story - Colouring - Craft - Prayer

Reception-Year 2 (KS1)

Shine are shining bright as they grow in God’s love, joy & hope. Group games - Praise & Worship songs - Bible Story - Animated Video -Voice feedback - Craft - Prayer - Take Home Tools.

Years 3- 6 (KS2)

Blaze are fanning into flame their faith: Group games - Praise & Worship - Bible Time - Discussion/ Memory Verses – Animated videos - Activity Stations - Craft - Prayer - Take Home Tools.

Midweek Groups

**Thursday (term time) | 10-11:45am**
This group is for parents/carers and their children not yet at school and costs £2 per family for up to 2 children. There is a wide range of toys and activities, craft, story time and singing. **Once a month we offer an optional session called Wiggle and Worship from 11.30-11.45am** which includes an interactive bible story, singing and bubbles.

**1st Friday of month (term time) 6-7pm | Years 3-6**
Rock up is a monthly club for children in school years 3-6. The club includes fun games, crafts, sports and more. There is a tuck shop available so children can bring £2.
**Children need to be signed up online via the calendar page.**

**3rd Saturday of the month | 10-11.30am**
WLTDO is a group for Dads, granddads and male carers to come and spend time with their primary aged children. The group takes place on the 3rd Saturday of the month and includes breakfast, toys, games and crafts. It’s a great way to meet other dads and spend time with your children.
**No booking is needed.**

**Tuesday | 9.45am-11am | Group for mums with children aged 0-4**
An opportunity for mums with children aged 0-4 years to gather, encounter God, read the bible and grow in faith together in this unique stage of life. A creche is provided.

Schools work

We work with all the local primary schools in our area. We facilitate:

LionHeart After-School Club at Eastbury Farm Primary School Mondays during term time.
Assemblies & RE Lesson support (Christian faith curriculum)
Workshops (e.g. the SU It’s Your Move transition workshop)

We also love hosting year group Church visits as well as groups from local schools at Harvest, Remembrance and Christmas and for our Easter Immersive Experience.

Family events & activites

In addition to our regular activities and groups throughout the year we run events for families, children and parents these include: -

Light party in October
Family days out to Kew gardens and Cassiobury park
Parenting courses
Summer holiday club in August
Children’s socials and family activities like pancake parties, games nights and picnics
