Worship is giving God praise for who He is and all He's done in every aspect of our lives.
One of the ways we do this is through music, where we seek to express our worship of God through both the tradition that has gone before us and contemporary forms of this generation.
We believe that when we worship together God is present among us and wants to encounter and change us by the truths proclaimed in Scripture and by the Holy Spirit.
Worship is not just for when we sing, but for every moment we seek to love and serve God.
At Emmanuel we have a big worship and tech team that work together to enable each member of the church family to encounter God through worship. This includes:
All age worship
Organ and piano led worship on Sundays as well as at events like funerals and weddings
Mid week worship at Wednesday Fellowship, worship team evenings, morning prayers and the monthly prayer meeting
Staff worship every Tuesday
Band style worship at our 10.30am and 5.30pm services and also one off events like New Wine gatherings, weddings, prayer and worship evenings.
Encounter evenings once a term
One off events like the holiday club, school visits, diocese events.
Our tech teams provide visual and sound support for all these events and more including school carol services.
