14 million people live below the poverty line in the UK, with individuals going hungry every day for a range of reasons, from benefit delays to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income.
We are part of Hillingdon Foodbank which is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. Every Friday 11am-1pm we welcome anyone in crisis and provide a minimum of three days’ emergency food, as well as a listening ear and refreshments.
If you need support getting a voucher the church is open between 11am-12noon on a Tuesday.
We welcome all food and toiletries donations to our Foodbank - please bring long life items to the Church Reception during the week or to the Westgate (at the front of church) on Sundays. Thank you.
